Standard-PV

Standard-PV refers to ground-mounted, utility-scale solar installations that convert sunlight directly into electricity using proven photovoltaic technology.

Designed, built and operated in line with internationally recognised standards, Standard-PV plants ensure high efficiency, safety and long-term durability, generating electricity that is fed directly into the grid.

Key benefits of Standard-PV

If you own suitable land for a Standard-PV plant, you can benefit from:

Guaranteed long-term income

We lease your land for 30 to 40 years, providing a stable, predictable income with no operational involvement required. Where appropriate, an outright land purchase is also possible.

Peace of mind at end of term

At the end of the lease term, we fully decommission the solar plant and restore the land to its original condition.

Supporting the energy transition

The electricity generated supports the transition to clean energy and contributes to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.

Tailor-made PV solutions

Each Standard-PV project is individually designed. We select panel technology, layouts and configurations based on land characteristics and operational needs, ensuring optimal efficiency, reliability and long-term sustainability.

Fixed-tilt solar structures

Fixed-tilt structures support solar panels in a static position, with the inclination angle carefully defined during the design phase to optimise solar capture throughout the year.

This mounting system is widely used in both standard utility-scale solar and Agri-PV projects and can be adapted to different structural heights, allowing flexibility depending on land use, operational needs and potential agricultural or livestock activities beneath the panels.

Solar tracker systems

Solar trackers are dynamic mounting structures that rotate the solar panels throughout the day to follow the sun’s path, maintaining an optimal angle of incidence.

This system increases overall energy yield and land-use efficiency and can be deployed in both standard PV and Agri-PV projects. As with fixed structures, tracker systems can be designed at different heights to accommodate specific land conditions and, where applicable, agricultural or livestock activities.

Benefits of Leasing or Selling Your Land to DVP Solar

  • You can continue your regular agricultural or livestock activities while green energy is produced — earning additional income at the same time.
  • Benefit from a fixed, long-term annual rent under a land lease agreement, independent of weather or crop yields.
  • The solar panels provide shelter for livestock, protecting animals from harsh weather conditions such as heat, heavy rain, snow, or hail.
  • They also protect crops: controlled shading helps reduce soil erosion, lowers evapotranspiration and lower irrigation water requirements.
  • Sites are fully secured with fencing and controlled access, protecting land, livestock and infrastructure.
  • Each project is carefully designed to integrate seamlessly into the local ecosystem, minimising environmental impact and supporting strong community acceptance.
